Itinerary

The ITINERARY will vary depending on weather conditions and how quickly or slowly the natural seasons are progressing but can include any of the following:-

Deer Photography in the New Forest.

Deer Photography in a Royal Park.

The wading birds of Pennington Marshes.

Bluebells and Garlic Woods.

Kingfishers and Mayflies.

Dragonflies and damsel flies.

Butterflies and wild flowers in the New Forest.

Butterflies and Orchids at Martin Down.

Red Squirrels and Peacocks on Brownsea Island.

Great Crested Grebes.

Autumn Trees in the New Forest.

Trees, shrubs and flowers of Exbury Gardens.

Trees, shrubs and flowers of Mintern House.

Trees, shrubs and flowers of Athelhampton House

Sample Itineraries

 

Suggested Packing list:-

Camera with various lenses including wide angle, macro and telephoto.  400mm+ preferable (on a full frame sensor).

Second camera with lenses.

Tripod with trigger release.  Beanbag.

Spare batteries and charger.

Spare memory cards.

Polarising filter, neutral density filters, graduated filters.

Wet weather protection for yourself and camera gear.  Sheet to kneel on. (Could use bin bags).

Warm clothes including hats and gloves.  Preferably subdued colours such as browns and greens.  Wellington boots and comfortable shoes for walking.

Walking sticks and seat if required.

Sun cream and insect repellent.

 

 

Places to stay

There are many places to stay in the New Forest ranging from high end hotels to economical B+Bs.  Choose somewhere that suits you but preferably near Brockenhurst or Lyndhurst.

The Art of Nature, Terms and Conditions and Contract

It is mutually agreed that the following terms and conditions form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless accepted by both Henry Szwinto Photography and the Client, in writing.

COST per PHOTOGRAPHER:-£1000

BOOKING FEE:-A payment of £150 is required at the time of booking in order to reserve the Art of Photography Workshop. Payment may be paid by bacs (BACS acc.no 94462880 sort code 09-01-26), cash, PayPal (henryszwinto@hotmail.com), Revolut (+447920887909). The booking fee is refundable with written cancellation (email) up to 42 days before the workshop.

PAYMENT:-Balance of payment (Attendance Fee) is required 14 days before the workshop.

PARTNERS ANS SPOUSES:- Partners and Spouses are welcome to attend all social aspects of the Art of Photography Workshop and any sessions that do not include sensitive wildlife.  If a client’s partner or spouse attends a photography session of the workshop they will not be expected to take any part in the photographic aspect of the session. The client will be responsible for all expenses of the partner or spouse.

TRAVEL:-The Client will be responsible for their own travel (and that of any partner or spouse) to and from the workshop and any travel during the workshop unless specified by Henry Szwinto Photography. If client’s choose to share their own car transport they do so at their own risk.

ACCOMODATION:-The Client will be responsible for organising their own accommodation. The client has complete choice but should consider proximity to Brockenhurst as this will be the main area of the Art of Photography Workshop sessions. The New Forest makes a great destination for a wonderful holiday and I would encourage clients and their partners or spouses to consider staying longer to explore the area.

FOOD:-The Client will be responsible for all their own (and that of their partner or spouse) food and drink unless otherwise specified or offered by Henry Szwinto Photography.

EQUIPMENT:-The client is responsible for bringing their own photographic equipment, suitable clothing and footwear including wet weather protection.

CLIENT HEALTH, FITNESS and SAFETY:-The client is responsible for their own health, fitness and safety  and must declare any injury or disability that may limit their participation in any events. The New Forest is a large area and significant walking (8-10km in some sessions) is to be expected.  Safety is the first priority and Henry Szwinto Photography will seek to avoid all perceived risks to the very best of his ability. If any delegate (or partner or spouse) sees something that they feel is a risk they must declare the risk to Henry Szwinto Photography and if not satisfied with any proposed solutions should avoid that perceived risk by not participating. Clients should arrange suitable insurance to protect themselves against any losses through accidents, travel cancellations, theft etc.

FORCE MAJEURE:-In the unlikely event of cancellation of the workshop due to injury, sickness or other reasons beyond Henry Szwinto Photography’s control, their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid in respect of the workshop only. Your statutory rights are not affected. Henry Szwinto Photography has full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

CANCELLATION:-If Henry Szwinto Photography has to cancel the Art of Photography Workshop for reasons beyond their control (death, injury, sickness, etc.), their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid only in respect of the workshop itself. Liability will not be extended to travel or accommodation.  The client should organise suitable travel insurance.  If the Client cancels the workshop attendance an unconditional refund policy exists up until 42 days prior to the reserved slot after which point the Attendance fee will only be returned if Henry Szwinto Photography can fill the vacant place on the workshop. In any case the Booking Fee will be retained by Henry Szwinto Photography.

POSTPONEMENT:-Should a client wish to be postpone to a later workshop, then, subject to Henry Szwinto Photography availability, all monies paid may be applied to the new workshop date. In this case, the total fees chargeable shall be the fee which applies at the time of the new date.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE:-Please address any complaints to Henry Szwinto Photography by email or telephone as per our contact details. We expect to respond to any complaint within 2 working days of receipt.

PRIVACY:-Henry Szwinto Photography will store your name and address details on a private internal database. These details will not be made available to third parties. Should you wish to have your details removed from our database, please advise us in writing.
